4 Books My Professors Recommended Pt.1

Some books they said we should “check out” cause it’s cool.

I’d hands down say that some of the best books I have read were once recommended to me by teachers.

One that changed the trajectory of my life was a book my French teacher in high school recommended to me after hearing about my interest in neuroscience. The book: Gifted Hands by Ben Carson. She let me borrow her copy and it inspired me at a time when I didn't even know I could be inspired like that.

So I take these recommendations very seriously.

However, my Goodreads to-be-reads which was already a long enough list is now 4 books longer. But I love it!

Now, three of them alone are from the lecture I had earlier today so expect to see more of these listicles here. This is when you would follow me ;)

For some context, I am a Neuroscience undergraduate student and most of them are from my Neuroscience professors and one from my History of Science course. So on with the list of gems recommended by my professors.

1. Inferno by Dante Alighieri

This is the first part of a 14th-century epic poem, Divine Comedy. This book was recommended by my History of Science professor for reasons unknown…
